Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern all purchases made through BRU Design Store. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Products & Services

BRU Design Store sells exclusive, one-of-a-kind premade logo designs. Once a logo is sold and personalized for a customer, it is permanently removed from the store and will never be resold. All customization is done manually based on the information you provide at checkout.

2. The Order Process

  • Order Placement: You are responsible for providing accurate and complete details (e.g., your company name) during checkout.
  • Payment: Full payment must be received before any customization work begins or final files are delivered.
  • Customization: The standard purchase includes replacing the placeholder text with your brand name, using the existing layout, fonts, and colors. Additional customization (e.g., color changes, font swaps, tagline additions) is available at an extra cost and must be selected during checkout.
  • Delivery: The final customized logo files will be delivered via a WeTransfer download link to the email you provide within 48 hours of confirmed payment. The download link is valid for 7 days. It is your responsibility to download your files within this timeframe.

3. Files Provided

Each premade logo purchase includes the following digital files:

  • Print-ready formats: PDF and EPS files.
  • Web-ready formats: PNG (with transparent background) and JPG files.
  • Optimized versions: Files optimized for social media profiles.
  • Bonus Mini Brand Guide: A complimentary guide that includes the logo’s fonts, color codes, and usage suggestions.

4. Usage Rights & Intellectual Property

Upon full payment and delivery of the final files:

  • Exclusive Usage: You receive exclusive rights to use the customized logo for all personal and commercial purposes.
  • Portfolio & Promotion: BRU Design Store retains the right to use and display your final, customized logo in its design portfolio and marketing materials for promotional purposes.
  • Prohibitions: You may not resell or redistribute the logo files to any third party.
  • Trademark Responsibility: You are solely responsible for performing your own trademark or copyright searches to ensure the logo’s suitability for your business. BRU Design Store is not liable for any issues arising from rejected trademark applications.

5. Refund & Cancellation Policy

All sales are final due to the digital and customized nature of our products. Refunds or cancellations will not be issued once customization has begun or once the final files have been delivered. No returns or exchanges are permitted.

6. Protection Against Abuse & Fraud

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including cases where fraudulent activity is suspected. Orders containing offensive, hateful, or defamatory brand names may be declined or canceled without a refund.

7. Limitation of Liability

BRU Design Store is not liable for any issues arising from improper file usage, third-party printing errors, or business losses resulting from the use of the logo.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of South African courts.

9. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time. Your continued use of the site and services indicates your agreement to the latest version.
